With over 30 years as a professional in Press photography, 23 of those as a staff photographer with the Staffordshire Sentinel where I became Chief Photographer. Shooting well over 30,000 varied assignments in that time, I have a wealth of experience in photographing a wide variety of subjects, news, sport, fashion, features, property, you name it and I’ve probably photographed it at some time during my career, from Royal visits to rock concerts and Wembley cup finals.
It is this varied background that I can draw on in my work as a freelance photographer, whether it be weddings, which I approach in a photojournalistic way to convey the story of the big day, family studio portraits or a PR event. Using my passion for photography and my wide experience and spontaneous approach as a foundation for my work in familiar fields.
